Workshop on Innovation and start-up Ecosystem Enablers

On 24.06.2022 a Motivational Talk on “Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem Enablers” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Business Studies in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC at 3.00 p.m. -4.00 p.m. Dr. A. Jainul Fathima, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology, Francis Xavier Engineering College was the guest speaker. The program was conducted in offline mode and was coordinated by Dr. T. Manimozhi, EDC Co-coordinator & Professor Mathematics of CSBS Department.

The resource person motivated the students regarding the importance of involving in innovation related activities in the campus and creating the startup as the career option. She also stressed the need to develop the startup ecosystem in the higher educational institutions. She explained how the startup ecosystem in the campus helps the students to enter into startup initiatives. The resource person being the member of a business family, she gave lot of innovative business ideas to create startup. The guest speaker asked the students to explore the startup initiatives to recycle the waste and to convert the same as the innovative product. The students gained knowledge and exposure in the field of innovation and startup initiatives.
