The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems organized 2nd National Level Technical Symposium “TECHFIRM’23” on April 26, 2023 under the activity code ACT/22-23/01458. The vision of symposium is to advance new ideas and focus on the technological development of the students through variety of methodologies and extracurricular activities, throughout the year round. The symposium’s theme is” TECHFIRM’23” is centered on the intimate bond between the human needs and the technical development connected with recent trends. The symposium had been organized with the objectives of providing a forum for interaction with the experts who will have their innovative ideas. Dr. V. Velmurugan, Principal, FXEC gave the inaugural address and motivated the students to organize more events like this in the future and also released the symposium proceedings and its videoalong the chief guest. Er. Abishek Stephen, a Turing Developer – Senior Backend Engineer at Tala was the Chief Guest of TECHFIRM’23. Esther Christy, Secretary, II year CSBS delivered the welcome address and the chief guest introduction was given by Harries Pandi. P, II Year CSBS. The Chief Guest provided valuable ideas and methodologies to the students for their career development skills. Students from various universities and colleges participated in the technical and non-technical events in the symposium. A total of 6 technical events and 6 non-technical events were conducted and more than 40 teams participated in various events. Winners were awarded with Shields, Cash awards and Certificates in the Valedictory ceremony and Participation certificates were also provided to all the participants. The symposium gave students a chance to interact with successful alumni that provided a better opportunity to learn about various upcoming technologies in Computer Science and Business Systems. The event was coordinated by Ms. A.Anitha, AP/CSBS under the guidance of Dr. S.Gomathi, Professor/HOD, CSBS.
