Strategies to Move Forward

On 12.01.2024 a Talk on " Sustaining Startups: Strategies to Move Forward " was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The session was handled by Dr.N Hemalatha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 9.30 PM – 12.30 PM. 41 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha AP/EEE.

The program started with the welcome address by M. Mary Sumitha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The internal resource person Dr.N. Hemalatha started the speech by addressing the concept of entrepreneurship, strategic planning, adaptability, and resilience. She also encourages the students dedicating their time to inventing something new and bringing it to market in order to effect worthwhile social change. She explored about Market Research, Viable Product Idea, Assembling the Right Team, Creating the healthy working environment, Meeting Customer Expectations. She also explained the Strategic Planning like Risk Mitigation, Resource Optimization, Flexibility, Progress Measurement. She explained Customer Relationship Strengthening, Feedback Collection and Improvement. She also listed some of the startups in Tamil Nadu and also shared the success story of the entrepreneur.
