15th Short Course Swimming Championship – 2021 held at Anna Stadium, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli on 27th, 28th& 29th Dec 2021. Mr.P.Alen Roi, I year B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science of Francis Xavier Engineering College participated and won Gold Medals under Senior men group in 4x100 Meter Free Style Relay ,4x100 meter Medley relay and won bronze medal in 100 Meter back stroke.
Tirunelveli District Chess Development Association conducted district below-1600 selection tournament 2021 at Vels Vidhyalay CBSE School Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli on 6th Oct 2021. Mr.S.Prakash Raj III year B.E.Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Francis Xavier Engineering College participatedunder 19 age category and won Silver Medal. He also participated under 19 age category Chess Championship Torunament -2021at Ayya Thaiyal Nayagi Nilayam, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli on 18th Dec 2021 and won 5th position. Further, he represented 49th Tamil Nadu State Junior Open (Under 19) FIDE Rated Chess Championship organised by Salem District Chess Association on behalf of Tamil Nadu State Chess Association from 20.12.2021 to 24.12.2021.
