Every organization works for a purpose and has to undergo a large number of processes and process is nothing but a conversion of inputs to outputs. During this conversion some input and output wastes are unavoidable but tangible wastes are useful inputs if used for recycling or for making different products. On 10th November 2022, a Session on "Daily Waste Management Practices in Service Sector Enterprise – A Discussion" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Dr. R Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador for "Design thinking & Innovations", Assistant professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College was the resource person. During his speech, he explained recycling of Daily Waste products as a business opportunity and said that recycling of waste products helps one to earn money as well as save the environment. He explained that the right skill set and manpower can convert waste products to money and also listed the top 10 recycling business ideas such as PVC recycling business, Construction and reliable waste recycling business, Medical Waste Recycling Business, Utensils recycle business, Glass Recycling business, Mattress Recycling business, Textile Recycling business, Junkyard Furniture recycling business, Electronic waste recycling business and Aluminum recycling business. The speaker concluded the session by explaining all the recycling business ideas with examples and the session came to an end with the feedback of Students. The Program was organized and coordinated by Pradheep T Rajan B, AP/ECE, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The students from III year ECE and faculties of ECE department participated.
