The program started with the welcome address by Mrs. Angeline Ranjithamani HOD-MCA, Francis Xavier Engineering College. She said entrepreneurship, startup, innovation and Intellectual Property rights were the themes of Entrepreneurship. The guest speaker Mr.V.Anto Joel started the speech by giving information about the creativity and innovation. He also highlighted the sources for identifying the problem. While explaining the various sources for identifying the problems he gave lot of live examples. He stressed the need for adhering the process of developing the innovative products.

The guest speaker being the student startup founder he shared his personal experiences in the product development and in starting the startup venture. He explained the ERP software packages designed and distributed to the schools through his startup. The guest speaker also explained the different innovative apps developed by him. While explaining his products he stressed the need for protecting the innovative products developed by registering the same through Intellectual Property Rights. He said that

In the second session, guest speaker created awareness about the different types of Intellectual Property Rights. He explained each types with lot of live examples. He demonstrated how to file a patent through online and offline mode. He lists the application fees for registering a patent He concludes the session by explaining the process of developing a startup venture. The interaction between the students and the resource person was highly motivating to all the participants. Session came to end with the feedback of the students.
