On 05.12.2024 a session on “Innovation and Resilience: Keys to Entrepreneurial Success” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. This session was handled by Mr. Jey Siddharth. G, Founder and CEO - HELEYON Technologies, Board member and CTO - Ezybee LLC. Forty four students from first year CSE D and one faculty of CSE department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Ms. M. Keerthana, Assistant Professor, Department of English, CSE from 2.00 PM – 4.00 PM.
The program started with the introduction of the guest speaker by Ms. M. Keerthana. During this session, the resource person shared invaluable insights on how the two factors, innovation and resilience, are critical to achieving success in the competitive world of business. The resource person began by emphasizing the importance of innovation as a driving force behind entrepreneurial success. According to the speaker, entrepreneurs who can harness innovation effectively will be able to differentiate themselves from competitors and create lasting value in their respective industries.
The resource person also shared his own journey as an entrepreneur, talking about the difficulties he faced along the way. He mentioned struggles like financial problems and uncertain markets while trying to build his business. Despite these challenges, he highlighted the importance of resilience in overcoming tough times. He explained that resilience is not just about recovering from failure, but also about staying motivated and continuing to move forward, even when things are uncertain. His story showed that setbacks should be viewed as chances to learn and grow, not as permanent obstacles.
In conclusion, the speaker highlighted that the combination of innovation and resilience is what truly separates successful entrepreneurs from the rest. He urged the attendees to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success and to always be open to new ideas and approaches. Through this program, participants showed keen interest in the concepts, methodologies and gave satisfactory feedback at the end of the session.
