Industry connect

On behalf of our DAWN Association, the Department of MCA have signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Feather Softwares, Nagercoil on 6th December 2024 at 11.00 a.m. Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani HOD / MCA Dept Coordinated the ” Industry Connect”. The event started with a prayer by the Coordinator. Dr. M. Vijaya Maheswari, AP/MCA welcomed the gathering followed by Institution introduction by Mrs.J.Anciline Jenifer, AP/MCA. Mrs. Anjana Devi Operations Head, Feather Software, Nagercoil has given a brief introduction about the industry. She discussed the importance of quality placements, citing Feather Software Services, Nagercoil, as an excellent platform for gaining valuable industry experience and building a strong professional foundation. Dr.V.Velmurugan, Principal, Francis Xavier Engineering College presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Dr. Annapandi, Prof. Placement, and gave Felicitation address. In their addresses the benefits of this industry institute interaction were emphasized.

The discussion encompasses a wide range of initiatives, including Industry-Supported Courses designed to align with current market trends, comprehensive Online Learning Programs for flexible skill enhancement, and the organization of large-scale "Job Mela" to connect job seekers with potential employers. Additionally, it highlights a robust orientation program for researchers, offering guidance on advanced research methodologies and paper publication support through the OneDesk platform, fostering academic and professional growth. Thereafter, the MoU Agreement was duly signed by Dr. V. Velmurugan, Principal, Francis Xavier Engineering College and Ms. Ahalya Devaraj, Managing Director, Feather Softwares. The meeting ended with Vote of thanks by Ms. Sumaiya Fathima, Placement Manager, Feather Software, Nagercoil.
