The Department of Information Technology has organized an Industrial Visit to Indian Space Research Organization – Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre for all the II, III and IV year students in Information Technology. The visit has been planned on October 18th (Wednesday) 2023. Dr. J. B. Shajilin Loret Professor/ Head of the Department of Information Technology and Mr. F. Richard Singh Samuel Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology has been the Convenor of this Industrial Visit. Mr. Anto Theepak, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Jean Celia Grace, Assistant Professor, Ms. Sathya, Assistant Professor and Ms. Nishan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Information Technology had Co-ordinated along in this Industrial Visit.

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram, also known as Trivandrum, is one of the major research centers of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). VSSC is primarily responsible for the development of launch vehicle technology, sounding rockets, and associated research in space science.

Visiting ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) can be an inspiring and educational experience, especially for students interested in space science, technology, and space exploration. ISRO is known for its significant contributions to space research and satellite technology.
