Guest Lecture on Advanced Databases and Data Mining

The guest lecture on the topic Advanced Databases and Data Mining was organized on behalf of the Dawn Association, MCA. Dr. Louisa Mary, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Sadakathullah Appa College was the resource person. Mrs.D.Angeline Ranjithamani, AP/MCA, HOD delivered the welcome address. The resource person taught in detail about Knowledge discovery from data and also about KDD. She had a brief discussion on what is data mining, databases, data reduction, data cleaning and data integration and interacted with the students and asked questions, students actively answered the questions. The program came to an end with a vote of thanks by Mrs. K.Dhamayanthi, AP/MCA.
