Expert Talk on Innovation: A Key to Scale New Heights

On 26.09.2022 Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with Department of Information Technology organized an expert talk on “Innovation: A Key to Scale New Heights” Ms. J. Monica Esther AP/IT incharge of Machine Learning Pre Incubation Centre was the resource person. The programme was presided by Dr.J.B.Shajilin Loret HoD of Information Technology. This program was organized for IV year B.Tech students. Dr.L. Gandhimathi, EDC Coordinator of IT department coordinated the program.

The speaker explained the concept of innovation and the process of innovation. While explaining the concept and the process she gave lot of live examples from the present-day situation. She said that for any business establishment the innovation important and it plays a vital role to sustain their business activities. She gave the examples of the two and four wheelers market and the necessity to introduce innovation in the industry. She also explained the need for developing the innovative mindset to explore new things and to develop new products. As the guest speaker is incharge of a pre- incubations centre, she stressed the student participants to concentrate on the product innovation using the knowledge and the skills possessed by them.

The presentation was an eye opener for most of the students participated in the session. The session was an interactive one where the students raised lot of questions to the guest speaker. The speaker explained all the doubts and gave lot of real time examples while addressing the queries. Totally 40 students participated in the session.
