On 28.04.2023 an expert talk on “Entrepreneurial Opportunities through Innovative Product Development” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of CSBS under the activity code ACT/22-23/01448. The session was handled by Dr.T.C.Subbulakshmi,ASP/IT. The students from first year CSBS and faculties of CSBS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. T. Manimozhi, EDC coordinator of CSBS, Professor/Mathematics.

The resource person focused on the importance of innovation in product development and how it can create new opportunities for entrepreneurs. She emphasized the importance of constantly innovating and developing new products in order to stay ahead of the competition and stressed the importance of conducting market research to identify gaps in the market that can be filled by new products. She also talked on the importance of focusing on the needs of the customer and creating a product that addresses their pain points. She insisted on the importance of being willing to take risks and embrace failure as a learning opportunity. Collaboration can be a powerful tool in product development. The resource person encouraged entrepreneurs to seek out partnerships and collaborations with others in order to bring their ideas to life. The lecture highlighted the importance of innovation in product development and the opportunities it can create for entrepreneurs. By identifying unmet needs in the market, creating products that solve problems, and being willing to take risks, entrepreneurs can develop innovative products that can lead to business success. Collaboration with others can also be a powerful tool in product development. The session came to an end by the feedback session of students and faculty members.
