Expert Talk on A New Vista to Promote Entrepreneurship

On 19.09.2022 Entrepreneurship Development Cell of IT department and IIC organized an Expert Talk on “A New Vista to Promote Entrepreneurship” through offline mode. Mrs.S Poornam, Assistant Professor, Department of AI/DS, FXEC was the resource person. This program was organized for IV year B.Tech students. The program was coordinated by Dr.L. Gandhimathi, EDC Coordinator of IT department.

The resource person explained the concept of entrepreneurship and the need for choosing the entrepreneurship as a career path. She highlighted the key characteristics which are required to become a successful entrepreneur. She also gave few examples from the successful Indian entrepreneurs. She inspired the students by giving motivating stories relating to entrepreneurship. The session was an interactive one where the students were very much participative in order to gather information about entrepreneurship and clarified their doubts. The students discussed a few business opportunities with the guest speaker. The guest speaker while clarifying the doubts of the students gave lot of practical examples from the real-life experience. Totally 40 students were participated in the session.
