The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Applications of Computing on 6th March 2020. The participants from various universities and colleges participated in this conference. The programme started with the prayer by Ms. Angeline Sweety. Ms. Selina delivered the welcome address. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminthan delivered the introduction address. The chief guest was honoured with the momentum and shawl by Dr. S. Balaji and Prof. B. Benita. The function commenced with the lightening of kuthuvillaku. The chief guest delivered the key note address on ‘Emerging Trends’. Dr. Velmurugan, Principal, Francis Xavier Engineering delivered the inauguration address. The proceedings were released by Dr. D. Shalini Punithavathani. Ms. Muthulakshmi delivered the vote of thanks. The programme were conducted in various venues. Dr. R. Ravi headed a venue chair and Dr. S. Balaji headed another venue chair. The participants presented their papers in the conference. The felicitation ceremony started in the evening and certificates were distributed to the participants. Dr. R. Ravi and the staff of CSE Department distributed the certificates to the participants. The feedback was shared by the participants. Most of them expressed their gratitude. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan. Dr. E. Manohar arranged the conference under the guidance of the conference coordinator, Prof. P. Brundha.
