On 4.03.2024 a " BUSINESS MODEL CONTEST " was organized by the Robotics and Automation Lab and Electrical Drives and Automation Lab and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The business model contest was organised by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College and Dr. N. Hemalatha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 01.30 PM – 4.30 PM. 33 students and 3 faculties participated. This event was conducted with the guidance of Dr. A. Ravi, Head of Department Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College.
The contest allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge to real world scenarios and gain practical experience in developing and pitching business ideas. It emphasized innovation and creativity. Nearly 40 students from various departments participated in the contest.
Dr. V. M. Sangeetha, AP/MBA evaluated the performances of the teams. The students were rewarded with cash prizes and certificates. Dr. N. Hemalatha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering coordinated the event.
