A Discussion with a Successful Entrepreneur- Process of Event Management

On 27th of January, 2023 a webinar on the topic "A Discussion with a Successful Entrepreneur - Process of Event Management” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution lnnovation Council in association with the Department of Computer Applications from 11.30 pm-1.30 pm. Ms.A.Abinaya, Entrepreneur, Twin Heart Event Organizer, Tirunelveli, delivered the guest lecture. 40 students from MCA department and 1 faculty member participated in the program

The seminar aimed to provide an overview of the various aspects of Event Process Management and to provide an opportunity for the students to network with successful entrepreneurs. She discussed the importance of entrepreneurship and how to identify the appropriate business opportunity for starting the entrepreneurial venture. The resource person also discussed about the steps to be followed while setting up a business venture and to become a Successful Entrepreneur to position as a leader, Deliver a value, Seek new ideas, Build long term relationship, Creative Thinking, Consistency, Inspire the team, Know what clients really want, Look for the results etc., She also shared about the hurdles faced before positioning the business and the success stories from her experiences. The webinar was very much useful and provided valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship. All the students were benefited by the webinar. The interaction between the students and the resource person was highly motivated.
