A Discussion on Skill Training Courses with Industry Experts

The online Google Meet session "Unlocking Your Potential: A Discussion on Skill Training Courses with Industry Experts'' was conducted on 16th May, 2023. Dr. Shajilin Loret, HoD/IT presided over the meeting and highlighted the outline of the meeting. The session featured two industry expert, Mr. Ramasamy, a Data Analyst from France and Mr. Jothiram, a Technical Expert from Zoho Corp. The session featured two industry experts who shared their insights and experiences and also discussed the importance of acquiring relevant skills and the technical aspects of skill training.

Mr. Ramasamy, a Data Analyst from France, presented valuable information on the latest trends in the data analysis field and discussed the importance of acquiring relevant skills. He emphasized the need for continuous learning and highlighted specific skill training courses that are in high demand in the industry.

Mr. Jothiram, a Technical Expert from Zoho Corp, shared his expertise on the technical aspects of skill training. He discussed various training programs offered by Zoho Corp and their effectiveness in developing practical skills. Additionally, he provided insights into the emerging technologies and skills that are expected to have a significant impact on the IT industry.

The Department of Information Technology had a Q&A session with industry experts and discussed skill training courses, career prospects, and industry trends. The meeting stressed the importance of involving industry experts in the identification and finalization of the skill curriculum for the academic year 2023-2024, as well as the need for collaboration in designing the curriculum and the advantages of utilizing online platforms such as Udemy for skill training courses. The meeting was coordinated by Dr. A. Jainul Fathima, Skill Training Coordinator of IT department.
