Seminar on Funding Prototypes through EDII Innovation Voucher Program

A seminar on “Funding prototypes through EDII Innovation Voucher Program” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The Session was handled by Ms. M. Dharshini of III CSE A, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli. The session was coordinated by IIC Convener Dr. Y. Harold Robinson, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FXEC. The students from the second year CSE Department participated in the program. The speaker inspired students to understand and obtain new exposure by sharing the unique start-up experiences.Further, the Resource person shared the details about the Udhayam Registration process and the importance of Innovation Voucher Program. Then she gave details on recieving funds for the projects. The speaker also conveyed fundamental concepts in the following fields, such as data science, Internet of Things & full stack web development. The EDII aims to enhance the spirit of entrepreneurship and the levels of skills by opening various sustainable entrepreneurial paths and accelerating systems for entrepreneurship. The resource person also discussed the value of patents and how they are utilized to safeguard start-up ideas and complete guide to resume building. A total of 41 students and 2 staff members participated in the program.
