The most awaited Jubilant Day (distribution of Offer Letters) was conducted at the Francis Xavier College of Engineering on 6th June 2022. A Total of 729 placement offers received from the multinational companies were distributed to the students by Dr.S.Cletus Babu, Chairman, SCAD Group of Institutions.

Dr. Cletus Babu, in his address, stated that the College is in the forefront in providing in-demand professional skills to make every student get placed and start earning while they learn. The institution creates the best platform to support the students master the professional skills required by the companies. The 20 Applied labs established in the institution make all the difference. The Applied Labs support the students to stand tall with their international counterparts in the field of Cyber Forensics, Mobile App Development, Embedded and IOT, Data Science, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, Robotics and Automation, Programming & Coding, Innovation & Product Development Design, Modelling & Analysis, Architecture and Design, PLC and Industrial Automation, Ideation, Advanced Communication Systems, Advanced Electronics System Design, Next Generation Computing, Electrical Drives and Automation, Manufacturing and Fabrication, Hackathon and Web App Development. The students are allowed to work in these labs and leverage innovation using the advanced technological sources and present their projects in international level contests. Acknowledging the skill of the students' various multinational companies including Amazon, Zoho, TCS, Qualcomm, Hexaware, Mirafra, Wipro, Rakuten, Kaar Technologies, Atos, Capgemini, Iwave, National Instruments, Infosys, Hashmap, Mydbops, Webberax, Sutherland, Sakthi Auto Components, Renault Nissan,Syrma, Zuci, Vinsinfo, Base Automation, Wabco, Neeyamo, Centizen, Digisailor, Q Max systems, Vicanpro, Tech Mahindra, Mobius, Vicanpro, Virtusa conducted placement drives during the academic year 2021-2022 and a total of 729 placement offers were received by the students. In addition to this 274 students have started receiving their salary during their final year of study.

Further, to have a good Institute-Industry connection, the college has set up Centre of Excellence Laboratories in collaboration with Texas Instruments, Deep learning, CDAC IoT, IBM Cloud computing, Mobile application Development,Predictive Business Analytics, Hackathon lab, Electronics application Lab, CISCO Networking Lab, Data Science Lab, NI, Robotics and Automation Lab, Fabrication Lab, Modeling Lab, world Skill Lab, Advanced Thermal Analysis / Solar and Amazon web services Lab.

The College has been ranked in the Band - “Excellent'' Category by ARIIA 2021 - Atal Ranking of Institution on Innovation Achievements, Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. The College is awarded ‘Platinum Rating’ in the AICTE – CII Survey of Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2020. Under the guidance of the MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC), Govt. of India, Francis Xavier Engineering College established Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in 2018-19 and the college received a ‘Four Star’ rating (for the Academic year 2020-2021) by the Ministry of Education’s innovation Council (MIC) for having developed innovative scientific and entrepreneurial ideas that can be used in user-friendly hi-tech gadgets. Recently, the college received a grant to start an Incubation centre under MSME Initiatives.
